AMR genomics datathon : 14-16th February 2022

On the 14-16th February 2022, the Hub for Quantitative Modelling in Healthcare will be hosting a genomics datathon event in Exeter city centre. This event will bring together researchers from around the South West to collaborate on a serious antimicrobial resistance threat, focusing on the ECDC’s “European survey of carbapenemase-producing Enterobacteriaceae” (EuSCAPE) dataset. The central aims of the event will be to develop new insight and methodologies around carbapenem-resistant pathogens - this could involve developing/extending bioinformatic tools, identifying interesting features in genomic data, exploring epidemiological data and so on. Register your interest for the event by following this link by the 24th January: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeiW-wMFW1KuzIIaRPlnq4GTABD0WxhImjclUpTa0T0TA2W_Q/viewform?usp=sf_link Contact Emily Wood for further information (E.J.Wood@exeter.ac.uk).
